Friends Of Bemerton St John (FoBS)

Who are we?
FoBs is a group of parents/carers and supporters of the school who meet regularly to plan events and activities to benefit the whole school community. All money raised directly benefits the pupils at this school. We get involved wherever we can to help the school, and try to spread a little happiness along the way. We are always keen to have new additions to our group, if you would like to get involved in any capacity, please speak to a member of FoBs in the playground or email us at friendsofbemertonschool@gmail.com

Saturday 20th June - Summer Fete
Our Summer Fete was another huge success in 2025. Thank you to everyone who helped and supported us before and on the day. We were absolutely delighted by the generosity of local businesses and our school community in generating some amazing raffle prizes. The weather was a scorcher. There were many stalls, tombolas, inflatables and many others. We had some fabulous entertainers come and join us for displays as well as workshops. Aspire martial arts club, Panthea dance company and Wessex community circus. The summer fete is always one of our top fundraising events and this one raised a grand total of £2153.76.
This year the Summer Fete has a solstice theme! The raffle prices are really shaping up and the stalls are busy being arranged, this should be another great event!

Easy ways to support your school

One of the quickest and easiest ways to raise money for the school is by signing up to Easyfundraising. It will cost you nothing! Here are some videos explaining how to set up your devices so you will automatically raise a donation when purchasing online: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLztABS-fsldGyjeEeuwTtOp97j8v89uTVhttps://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/panel/

Just outside of the school gates you will find our textile recycling bin. For every kg collected, the school receives income. Clear out your wardrobes into plastic bags, drop them off during the school run and raise money for your school!
Name tags, labels and other items can be ordered from www.Nametags.com. This helps you keep track of your child's clothes and school items while earning money for the school. The school will earn money for each order made using our school ID, which is 31410. You can also use this link: http://www.mynametags.com/affiliate?id=31410
