Our next event is the School Disco on Friday 26th September. Key Stage 1 disco will be 5:30 - 6:30pm and Key Stage 2 disco will be from 6:45 - 7:45pm.

The first draw for 50:50 lottery will take place at the school disco.

Remember, remember the 5th Novemeber.....

Our fireworks night is back. 

Advance Notice: 

The christmas bazaar is Friday 5th December. After school over at St Johns place.

Last years christmas bazaar raised a record breaking £2,255.74. We are grateful to our school community and local businesses who provided some fabulous prizes for our hamper raffle. Bemerton St John's wonderful choir opened the Bazaar by singing beautifully in the porch. There were many fantastic games run by the yera 6 children, craft stalls, raffles, food and drink to purchase, and even an opportunity for children choose and wrap a gift for family or friends. Father christmas cleard his schedule to allow children to visit him in his grotto and recieve a gift. We are very much looking forward to this years bazaar.

We are a group of Mums, Dads and teachers who meet regularly to plan events and fundraise for Bemerton St John Primary School in Lower Bemerton, Salisbury. All money raised directly benefits the pupils at this school. We get involved wherever we can to help the school, and try to spread a little happiness along the way.

The 50:50 school lottery is due to commence this week, first draw taking place at the school disco.

 Our Summer Fete "vintage circus theme" was another hugh success in 2024. Thank you to everyone who helped and supported us before and on the day. We were absolutely delighted by the generosity of local businesses and our school community in generating some amazing raffle prizes. The weather was a scorcher. There were many stalls, tombolas, inflatables, bucking bronco and many others. We had some fabulous entertainers come and join us for displays as well as workshops. Aspire martial arts club, Panthea dance company and Wessex community circus. The summer fete is always one of our top fundraising events and this one rasied a grand total of £2153.76.

Please keep on donating to the Textile Recycling bin; we get paid per kg collected.

NB: Donations need to be in a carrier bag please to avoid getting wet.

Our Successes!

The fantastic purchases we were able to assit with through 2025 was £3000 towards new ipads for each classroom and £2900 for the brand new outdoor play equiptment for the Wrens and Robins play area. On top of that was class spending money for use towards trips and enrichment activites, subsidised coach costs for year 6 residential. 

In 2024, we raised enough money to purchase the new playground shelter, and to have it in use the same hour the builders completed its installation! The Rainbow Shelter has not only provided cover for FoBShop and Freezer Fridays, but allows playground shelter from all-weathers for the whole school to use as appropriate across the daym whilst generating space, light and enrichment for learning and play.

In 2023, we were delighted to help the school purchase a trim trail for the playground, giving all year groups an opportunity for physical challenge and play. It has been very well received by the school community.

We were also been able to use our funds to purchase 8 new gazebos for the school, providing shade in the playground on hotter days. These are most useful on Sports Days, allowing each class to stay out of the blazing sun between races.
